A total of 81 competitors took to the links at Rich River Golf Club, joined by a host of amateurs on Thursday, February 26, before the pros went solo in search of the title.
Included among the field was defending champion Terry Pilkadaris and other former Australian Open players including Peter Fowler, Peter Lonard, David McKenzie, Brad Burns, Adam Henwood, Euan Walters and Andre Stolz.
Guy Wall dispatched all comers, starting with a phenomenal six-under par 66 on day one, following up with a three-under round on day two to claim the outright win nine-under.
Stoltz led the way on day one with an eight-under 64 but could only manage par on day two to fall short of Wall by a single shot.
Riverine Herald photographer Jordan Townrow captured some of the action from the course.
