A fatal single-vehicle crash in Tongala on Sunday, March 8, has claimed one life and left another in a “serious condition”.
Multiple emergency services rushed to Day Rd just before 9.30pm, where they found a red Mazda had rolled over with four people trapped inside.
Victoria Police confirmed one occupant died at the scene, though their identity has not been released.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the three other occupants were transported to hospital in varying conditions.
A man in his 30s was airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition with upper body injuries.
Two men in their 30s were transported to Goulburn Valley Health in a stable condition, one with upper and lower body injuries.
Advanced Life Support, Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance and a specialist air ambulance paramedics were on the scene.
Police said Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives were investigating the cause of the crash.
