During the last few weeks, the children of St Mary’s Primary School in Echuca have been focusing on developing a ‘Friendship Culture’ within their classrooms and the wider school.

The kids have read stories, designed bookmarks and posters, written poetry and learnt a song and dance with the theme of ‘friendship’.

On Friday, the National Day of Action Against Violence and Bullying, a Year 6 Inclusive Leadership Team ran activities based around the theme including a friendship tree, chalk art, and a graffiti wall.

To conclude the day, all children gathered to sing and dance to a song called Kindness Is A Muscle.
