Moama will be hoping to bring an end to its two-game losing streak when it takes on Numurkah on Saturday at Jack Eddy Oval.
Moama made a hot start to the season, reeling off five-straight wins, but the Magpies have been grounded lately after back-to-back defeats.
The Pies will be hoping to steady the ship with a win over the Blues, and there will be a fair bit riding on the result.
Numurkah sits directly bellow the Pies on the ladder, with one win separating the teams.
A loss could see Moama fall even further behind the league’s top three sides, while a win would solidify its spot in the top six.
Both the Mapgies and Blues have felt the wrath of the undefeated teams in recent weeks.
Moama’s two defeats came against Tongala and Mulwala, losing by 43 and 70 points respectively.
Numurkah, meanwhile, was hammered by Cobram last weekend, losing to the top-of-the-ladder Tigers by 155 points.
Moama had the edge when the two sides met last year, defeating the Blues by 28 points in round 13.
