News Man hit by concrete truck in Echuca By Ivy Jensen Sep 7, 2020 A MAN has been hit by a concrete truck in Ogilvie Ave. Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content The man is believed to have stepped out in front of the Boral truck, driven south by a Moama man, near the corner of Dobinson St, just before 10am. Paramedics treated the man, believed to be in his 20s, at the scene before taking him to Echuca hospital. His injuries and condition are not known but he is expected to be flown by air ambulance helicopter to a Bendigo hospital. Campaspe Highway Patrol Sergeant Paul Nicoll said police were investigating. "We don't know anything at this stage except a man has been hit by a vehicle," he said. "He was conscious and talking so we don't think his condition is serious at this stage." Motorists are being urged to avoid the area where possible.
