Manager Matt Newton and his team have lined up sales ahead of the Christmas season for locals to purchase their presents.
“We have a lot of specials in the lead-up to Christmas, and I think quite possibly it could be one of the biggest Christmas seasons we’ve seen here,” he said.
After two years of disruptions, travel is on the minds of a lot of locals, and the team at Echuca Autobarn can get your caravan or four-wheel drive ready for a summer on the road.
“A lot of people come in on the hunt for Christmas presents at this time of year, and then you have people that potentially travel either before or just after Christmas, and we can help them to prepare for that if they’re looking to get some upgrades for their car or caravan before they go away,” Mr Newton said.
“Four-wheel driving is something that continues to grow year after year, there are always more SUVs and 4WDs on the roads, and most people are looking to jazz them up or make them more practical.”
Christmas gifts for motor-heads can often be hard to choose, but Mr Newton has a selection that will suit every car enthusiast’s needs.
“There are a few items that become popular around Christmas, like breathalisers, which are extremely popular as presents and popular with people going to all the parties and want to be safe,” he said.
“Car care gift buckets are always popular at Christmas, as well as car fridges.
“The fridges are a portable style 12-volt fridge that you can have in the vehicle to keep food and drinks cold — they’re good for people who go out camping, but even for going to pick the groceries up, and when it gets warm and kids are looking for a cold drink on long trips, you can easily grab one out and away you go.”
