Lower grades
Violet Town’s lower grades had better success on Saturday, winning three out of a possible three matches.
B-grade held on for a five-goal victory over Rushworth and are on the verge of breaking into the top six, while C-grade dominated Rushworth 24-53 to record their fourth win of the season.
And in junior results, the Towners also proved successful, beating the lower-placed Rushworth by 13 goals away from home.
