The show explored the history and types of music that are played around the world, giving the children in the audience, a chance to hear and see different instruments and get a better understanding of the place of music in different cultures.
‘‘It allows children access to musical experiences they would not normally have,’’ music teacher Rosey Devlin said. ‘‘We are also trying to develop and instil an appreciation of all types of music here at Echuca Twin Rivers.
‘‘This wonderful opportunity for all the students in our school is available free of charge because of the generous sponsorship provided by the Echuca Workers Club.
‘‘Our students feel very lucky to be able to attend the show and our school community is very thankful to the Echuca Workers Club.’’
