Moama and Tongala swept their opponents in the Murray league, the Magpies having faced Deniliquin, while the Blues played Cobram.
Moama made it six straight wins in football with a dominant 16.10 (106) to 5.6 (36) triumph and the netballers also extended their win streak to seven with a 74-50 win over the Rams.
Meanwhile, Tongala defeated the Tigers in a close football encounter, 16.3 (99) to 13.11 (89), though the Blues won with more comfort in A-grade netball, prevailing 63-31.
Elsewhere, Echuca United split its match-ups with Finley.
The Eagles were thwarted in football, going down 3.9 (27) to 8.13 (61), but their netball side made it consecutive wins for the first time this season by thumping the Cats 63-33.
In Heathcote District Football Netball League, Lockington-Bamawm United endured a tough day at the office against Mount Pleasant, the Cats losing senior football 14.13 (97) to 6.5 (41) and A-grade netball 94-34.
Finally, to Picola District Football Netball League, where Mathoura’s senior football side notched its first win of the season, defeating Katunga 10.13 (73) to 10.9 (69).
The Timbercutters couldn’t make it a sweep in A-grade netball, going down 43-26.
Elsewhere, Picola United went winless against Tungamah, the Blues’ footballers losing 14.11 (95) to 9.4 (58), while their netballers went down 50-28.
