THE Nanneella Memorial Hall is the place to be for local men on Friday night.
The sixth annual men’s night is on again and organiser Brett Gledhill said it was shaping to be another fun occasion.
‘‘It is a really good opportunity to get to know people around town,’’ he said.
‘‘We are all so busy and this gives us a chance to catch up for a fun social night with a few drinks and a feed.
“And it’s the perfect chance to meet some people if you’re new to the area.”
The night, sponsored by the Victorian Farmer’s Federation, is all about having some fun and raising money to support local community groups.
‘‘We want to donate to the local school and the playgroup,’’ Mr Gledhill said.
‘‘It is not all about us.
‘‘Nanneella is built on supporting community groups, so we want to do whatever we can to help people in need — while having a bit of fun in the process.’’
The cost is $20 and covers a meal, a guest speaker and lucky door prizes.
The event starts at 7pm. People are encouraged to bring their own drinks. For details, call Mr Gledhill on 0427 845 375.
