Work on the College's new Multi-Function Centre (MFC) is progressing strongly, reflecting St Joseph's College's ongoing commitment to providing exceptional learning environments for current and future students. Discover more about the College's vision at St.Joseph’s College.
The steel framework for the new building has now been completed, with exposed structural steel currently being painted. The roof has been installed, brickwork is approximately 70 per cent complete, and the striking glulam timber beams are now in place, creating an architectural feature that will become a centrepiece of the new facility.
Inside the building, construction continues at pace. Internal wall framing is well underway, electrical rough-in works have commenced, and mechanical services, including air conditioning, are being installed throughout the centre to ensure a modern, comfortable learning environment.
Externally, teams are progressing plumbing and stormwater infrastructure while preparing for the installation of external wall cladding in the coming weeks. With multiple trades working across the site each day, the project continues to maintain excellent momentum thanks to careful planning and coordination.
The Stage 3 development represents another exciting investment in the future of St.Joseph’s College, delivering outstanding facilities that will support learning, collaboration and community engagement for years to come.
