People employed in farming or regional businesses within the Federation Council of NSW are invited to attend to hear more about the program, which is designed to assist businesses in the area achieve long-term profitability and sustainability.
The Transforming Regions Development Program will focus on the mindset and skills required in business and will be delivered via six work modules, which will be supported by podcasts, webinars and monthly resources. Coaching, mentoring and support will also be provided to help participants acquire practical skills that can be applied to both personal life and business.
The program is funded by the Australian Government’s Drought Communities Program, in conjunction with Federation Council, and is being delivered by Riverine Plains Inc through a partnership with Lessons Learnt Consulting.
While the final program will be determined in consultation with participants, the modules will most likely cover:
• Understanding individual and shared values and strengths and their application to your personal life and business
• Positioning your business to thrive
• Shaping your future and managing change
• Managing finances
• Managing relationships
• Operational planning processes and management mechanisms
The evening will also provide an opportunity to meet and speak with program presenter, Dennis Hoiberg from Lessons Learnt Consulting.
