Electrical fault believed to be cause of tractor fire

‘‘By the time the crew got on scene, the tractor was fully alight,’’ RFS Mid-Murray Zone district officer Phillip Brunsdon said.

‘‘The crew contained the fire just to the tractor which was completely destroyed.’’

Mr Brunsdon said the tractor was stationary using a PTO auger to fill the nearby silos.

‘‘We’re thinking at this stage it was an electrical fault given the age of the tractor,’’ he said.

No-one was hurt in the fire.
