LAUREN Douglas may have lost all her hair, but she made almost $6000 for cancer research in the process.
The university student from Moama had her head shaved on Saturday as part of the World’s Greatest Shave.
The 23-year-old almost tripled her goal of $2000, raising $5698 which will go towards the Leukaemia Foundation.
Her hair was also donated to Variety, the Children’s Charity and will be made into a wig.
About 200 people attended Moama RSL Club to watch the shave.
