Following his release from hospital, he was charged with domestic violence-related kidnapping and assault.
The 35-year-old was also charged with armed break and enter with intent, vehicular theft and destroy or damage property.
He was already wanted in relation to the alleged removal of his Corrective Services electronic ankle monitoring device on Sunday.
Mr Faasavalu appeared in Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday where he did not apply for bail.
He will return to court later in June.
