Echuca police seek identity of alleged scotch thief

POLICE are appealing for information into a theft at an Echuca liquor store last month.

On Saturday, January 11, about 5.30pm, CCTV captured a man walking into Coles Liquorland in Hare St and walking out with a bottle of Hennessy Scotch, valued about $80, without paying for it.

Police are seeking the identity of the man pictured in the photo to help them with their inquiries.

The man has a dark beard and was wearing a black and white baseball cap and black hoodie jumper.
