From 2pm, the event will be a cultural experience diving into the sounds of Spanish Flamenco and classical guitar.
Set in the acoustic space at the Echuca-Moama Uniting Church, there is no better place to hear Matthew’s skill on the guitar or the sensational expressions of Spanish flamenco.
The album also features South American and Latin guitar music and guest Latin jazz Bossa Nova singer Kellie Grace.
Recently returned from touring to Edinburgh, Spain and Italy, Matthew presents a stunning concert combining musical passion and virtuosity to celebrate the Spirit of Spain, El Vito.
Matthew’s first vinyl 12-inch LP El Vito will be launched at the concert — the first new Spanish guitar vinyl release in Australia in 30 years.
The show features the colourful and rhythmic sounds of South American classical and Latin masterpieces.
Guest singer Kellie Grace will share vibrant and joyous Latin, Bossa Nova jazz, hit songs.
Highlights from Matthew’s virtuoso and original albums will also be presented including Matthew’s stunning arrangement of Bach’s Tocatta as featured on ABC TV originally arranged for Matthew’s show Lord of the Strings which toured for 53 nights around Australia with Billy Connolly.
After the show, there is also the chance to meet Matthew and Kellie, with refreshments available.
For all the music lovers, El Vito is not a concert you want to miss.
