Coming to the Winton Motor Raceway on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, the annual event boasts exciting historic car racing, parades, an automotive market and heritage displays.
Austin 7 Club member and event manager John Kessner said more than 200 cars from the 1920s to the 1980s would be hitting the track.
More than 300 invited anniversary marques and heritage vehicles will also be showcased.
Mr Kessner said families were central to the event, with kids under-17 allowed free entry with pre-acquired tickets.
“Parents and grandparents have a great time showing their grandkids the cars from their youth and watching the amazed looks on their faces,” he said.
“The selfie opportunities are endless, especially as this is a rare event where visitors are able to visit the competition paddock to view the race cars and meet the competitors.
“Family is so much part of the Historic Winton culture that, since 1993, the Firth Motors Family Trophy has been awarded to a family involved in racing or volunteering at the event.”
For the first time in the event’s history, a free shuttle bus will transport attendees from Benalla Station to Winton Motor Raceway on both days of the Historic Winton.
Attendees are advised to pre-purchase their tickets online to save $5 per ticket.
The Huntley Gates will open at 7am each day, with the Saturday program beginning at 9am, including practice laps, and the Sunday program commencing at 8.45am.
