Cancer Council Victoria is calling on Victorians to rally their family, friends and workmates for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, and turn a simple cuppa into a powerful way to support those impacted by cancer.
With one Australian diagnosed with cancer every five minutes — the same time it takes to boil the kettle and take a tea break — every single morning tea held across the state has the potential to make a life-saving difference.
While the official date of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is Thursday, May 21, you can host an event anytime in May and June.
For those who have not got time to organise their own morning tea, Echuca Inner Wheel Club members are inviting all to join them for a cuppa for a cause.
Head along and enjoy tea and scones to support a local charity. The morning tea is on May 18 at the Echuca library meeting room from 10am to 1pm. Cost is $10.
