As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, headspace Shepparton will host a free event for people aged 12 to 25.
The Halloween Potions and Pictures event will include a potion-making activity, a screening of The Nightmare Before Christmas, lunch and a gift bag.
Attendees are encouraged to put on their spookiest costumes to be in the running to win best dressed.
The event will be held on Saturday, October 31 from noon to 3.30pm at 129 High St, Shepparton.
The event is smoke, drug and alcohol free.
headspace Shepparton is using this month to emphasise the need for open conversations, with just a simple “Hey, you doing okay?” creating a safe space.
“October in general is really important, where all other organisations also acknowledge the month and realise that this is something that we need to keep supporting and talking about,” community awareness co-ordinator Naynika Bagrecha said.
Registrations are required, with spaces limited.
