The favourite family fun event, the Teddy Bears’ Picnic, will once again feature a host of activities and entertainment from 11.30am-1.30pm at the Kerrabee Soundshell in Moama.
And organiser Jacqui Wegener said everyone should be excited for this year’s event.
‘‘The Teddy Bears’ Picnic is a fun and affordable family event fostering community participation,’’ she said.
‘‘Families can pack a picnic or purchase from the Moama Lions barbecue stall and we have plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy.
‘‘This is a nice and easy Sunday outing where children are entertained and mum and dad can catch up with friends.
‘‘Where else can you take the whole family and enjoy all of these activities without costing an arm and a leg?’’
The Moama Lions Club will have its barbecue set up and will be serving sausages in bread or there’s buckets of hot chips on offer too.
The Port Ice Creamery will be serving their delicious flavours and Maximum Coffee Van has your coffee fix sorted.
Back by popular demand The Mik Maks will take to the stage and perform their much-loved musical act.
To keep the children entertained there will be face painting, teddy bear craft by Bunnings, some Lil Me Market stalls, garden games with Coolabah Turf and, of course, the 2019 Teddy Bear Parade.
Mickey and Minnie will also be making an appearance throughout the event and you definitely do not want to miss out on meeting your favourite Disney couple.
‘‘It is a great to see the Murray River Council see the benefit in continuing this event for the local community,’’ Jacqui said.
‘‘The local support received is also fantastic.
‘‘This event has been running for more than 20 years and while it may have changed format quite a lot over its time, the likes of Moama RSL, Billabong Ranch, Riverine Herald, Edge FM, Coolabah Turf, Bunnings Echuca and so on continue to show support year after year.’’
