The Echuca Lions Club held its annual Junior Public Speaking contest at Echuca College on Sunday, June 14.

Six primary schools from Mathoura, Moama and Echuca took part in the event, sending two contestants each to represent Years 3 and 4 and 5 and 6.
St Mary’s Holly Bourke was named the winner for the Year 3 and 4 group while Echuca Primary School’s Amy Kelly and Australian Christian College’s Angela Attalh tied in the Year 5 and 6 category.
The winners will now prepare for the regional finals on Sunday, August 16.
