Hosted by the Bendigo Lego User Group in collaboration with the Lockington Neighbourhood House, the event is a chance for Lego builders to display their creations for the community to enjoy.
Event co-ordinator Owen O’Brien said he hoped the event would encourage others to take up Lego building as a hobby.
“I just want to encourage other people, I think it's a great pastime,” he said.
“For me, it's a real artistic outlet, it's another art form, it's a painting just out of plastic bricks.
“There's probably other people, like I was, who love building Lego and didn't even know there were groups of other people doing this.
“I think the more people we can get interested in it, the better, because it’s fantastic.”
For a gold coin donation to the Lockington Food Share, attendees will have the chance to take a closer look at the different models and chat to builders.
Each year, students from the Lockington Youth Action Group also take part, building their own Lego designs or putting together a set.
Youth not part of YAG can also take part by building their own set at home and bringing it along on the morning of the event to enter.
The event will once again run in conjunction with the Lockington Lions Club Swap Meet and Show ‘n’ Shine on Sunday, May 17.
The event will run from 10am to 2pm.
