Dozens turned up to Morrisons Winery’s function room, ready to raise awareness and funds for Headspace and The Local.
Guests were treated to an afternoon of tricky conversations, tasty food, and mental fitness tips, with the meal broken up by a choral welcome, a talk with OCD advocate and author Penny Moody, and a panel discussion with local figures from the mental health space.
The day was made all the more poignant by attendees sharing stories from their own lives to highlight just why events like this, where people take time out to really focus on mental health and mental fitness, are so important.
