Meanwhile, a man who crashed into a power pole in Goulburn Rd last month remains in a Melbourne hospital.
Echuca Leading Senior Constable Simon O'Toole said police were unable to ascertain why the driver lost control and crashed on August 18.
“I am awaiting blood and alcohol results, which may be a contributing factor,” he said.
The Echuca man suffered upper body injuries and was flown to The Alfred hospital where he was in a critical condition in intensive care for the first few days.
He is now believed to be listed as serious.
“When the driver is fit for interview, he will be spoken to in relation to the accident,” Snr Constable O'Toole said.
