Hosted by the Echuca Moama Photography Club at Rich River Golf Club, the convention featured multiple workshops led by experienced photographers, including Ian van der Wolde, Cedric Robertson, Richard Tatti, Jose Gomez and David Simmonds, offering attendees hands-on learning opportunities across a range of photographic styles and techniques.
Roz Harris, the main organiser and the president of the Echuca Moama Photography Club, said she was thrilled with how the convention went.
“It was well attended, well run. Everybody that I spoke to thoroughly enjoyed it,” she said.
“And a huge thanks to all our sponsors.”
Around 130 people attended over the weekend, including members of other photography clubs.

The convention featured a Friday night social gathering, presentations, and hundreds of photographic works on display, including prints, electronic digital images and audio visual productions projected on screens.
Echuca Moama Photography Club members volunteered to help the event run smoothly.
“We had a wonderful raffle that raised a lot of money for the club,” Ms Harris said.
“Pam Pengali did great work organising all the wonderful prizes from local businesses.”
The Echuca Moama Photography Club meets on the first and third Wednesday of the month at the library. There are also workshops once or twice a month on the weekends.
“It was good networking, we increased our members and met fellow photographers and other places to do workshops at,” Ms Harris said.
“It wasn’t too hard at all, and I’d be happy to do it again next year.”
