Merrigum Historical Society's president Bryan Fitzsimmons and secretary Flo Halliday have sifted through the archives to find some gems of the town's memories.

The images capture historic events including a local strike, old farming practices and new farming inventions throughout the early 1900s.

The Merrigum Historical Society is comprised of a small committee of volunteers who are "collecting the past to preserve the future".

The Merrigum Museum can be found at 111-113 Waverley Ave, Merrigum, and is open by appointment only.
