In a classic A1/A2 battle, Mooroopna Cats White and Shepparton Lawn Red literally could not be separated, with the teams forced to divvy up the points.
Each team took four sets and 35 in the match, leaving the sides fifth and sixth respectively and outside the A1 playoff bracket.
The top tier's other two fixtures were more one-sided; Shepparton Lawn Green had no trouble seeing off Mooroopna Cats Blue 7-44 to 1-20, while Shepparton Lawn Blue won well against Kialla Park Blue, 8-48 to 0-18.
B1 play had a series of thrilling matches, with three of four fixtures decided by five games or less.
Shepparton Lawn Red edged out Kialla Park 4-35 to 4-31, Nathalia Lawn beat Toolamba 5-33 to 3-28 and Shepparton Lawn Green beat Shepparton Lawn Blue 5-35 to 3-30, while the Mooroopna Cats rounded out the division with a comfortable 25-game sweep against Shepparton Lawn Yellow.
Despite the loss, Toolamba remains on top of the ladder, with Shepparton Lawn Green level on points in second.
Mooroopna Cats Blue got the job done in B2, working its way to a strong 10-game win against Tatura Lawn, taking a 5-35 to 3-25 triumph.
McEwen Reserve came up with a nice 6-46 to 2-25 win playing Shepparton Lawn, while Kialla Park won by 19 games against Mooroopna Cats White.
McEwen Reserve remains the team to beat having only dropped 69 games this season, with Kialla Park second on the ladder.
And there was little separating Green and Blue in a B3 Shepparton Lawn derby, with Green grinding out a nine-game win.
Tatura Lawn, Toolamba and McEwen Reserve were the division's other victors, Tatura ending the round on top of the ladder.
