Rich River Croquet Club had another visit from a delightful group of students from Moama Anglican Grammar.
This group was due to play at the courts last Friday but heavy rain prevented that.
Play was rescheduled and the weather on Tuesday was perfect for croquet.
The students took to the game quite quickly and one even scored a hoop in one.
An unbeatable shot, remarkable for a learner.
The club is enjoying the opportunity to share their love of the game with these students and hopes to be able to welcome them back in the future.
After the MAG visit on Tuesday, club members played Kingball and then enjoyed lunch in the bistro.
Playing two games, there was only one player who won both games.
Well done to Anne Dodd.
Jan Tracy and Ian Grant both won one each.
There were 12 starters for golf croquet last Thursday, although not all played three games.
There was only one three-game winner — Jan Tracy who was a welcome visitor from Echuca Moama Croquet Club.
She had a nett hoop score of +8.
Then there were four two-game winners.
Alan Holding and Jim Gunn both had +6, with Jim just ahead on a countback.
Anne Dodd finished with 0 and Gillian Holding with -1.
On Friday last week, Echuca Moama Croquet Club kindly invited five Victorian Rich River members to enjoy a game with them, an invitation much appreciated by RRCC members.
