After losing the semi-final against Moama by five shots only two weeks ago, Echuca shocked the Steamers in the grand final to take the division two midweek pennant title.
All three rinks featured large margins, two of them going Echuca’s way in the 62-48 win.
Pam Lewis’ squad put in the best performance of the tie, earning a 31-12 win, while Trevor Nagorcka also skipped a strong result, 22-9.
Kevin Connolly was in charge for Moama’s lone success of the matchup, but his 27-9 victory wasn’t enough to steer the Steamers home given the other results.
Moama had been minor the minor premier, suffering only two losses up to this point of the season, and winning three of four meetings with Echuca.
