As Shepparton District Tennis Association enters the festive break there are two sides that are running away from the pack in the top division.
In Pennant, Shepparton North and McEwen Reserve extended their buffer on Central Park and Karramomus following Saturday’s round 11 fixtures.
North was far too strong at home and skipped away to a commanding 8-53 to 1-28 triumph.
McEwen Reserve on the other hand, held on to its lead at the top of the table thanks to an 8-51 to 1-19 demolition job against Central Park.
The two outfits sit on 30 points apiece, with McEwen Reserve’s superior percentage helping keep North at bay.
