Up to $5000 can be granted to assist with essential safety upgrades to facilities, though any club applying must provide evidence that the financial aid is required to improve the safety of its grounds and surrounding buildings.
“Community football clubs are the heartbeat of rural and regional towns, and it is so important that we continue to support clubs in upgrading their facilities to improve not only the safety but enjoyment of the loyal members, volunteers and players that keep country footy alive,” AFL Victoria head Greg Madigan said.
“I encourage all country footy clubs in need of funding to make the most of this opportunity and to apply for a grant in 2026. Even a small safety improvement can make a significant difference.”
Applications close on Tuesday, June 30, with the full eligibility criteria and the link to apply available at aflvic.smartygrants.com.au/CSF26
