Leading the charge will be newly elected president Matt Hannan, who was installed to succeed Matt Clarke at the Finley Football Netball Club's AGM last week.
Other committee members farewelled at the AGM were Robyn Campbell as outgoing netball director, and outgoing committee members Jenny Philpot, Troy Marshall and Matt Fleming.
Hannan was elected president and Dan Harris as treasurer, replacing Barry Dawe.
Vice president is Rob Massina, secretary is Stacey Doolan, football manager is Damian Sexton and netball manager is Rachel Brindley.
The general committee includes five new committee members - Nathan Grimwood, Glen Murray, Ang Urquhart, Marcus Flanagan and Hannah Savle - alongside returning committee members Matt Jackson, Tess Dean, Warwick Douglas and Barry Dawe.
Hannan has been involved with the club as a player, coach and committee member as a long-term Finley resident, and can bring governance experience from his years of Berrigan Shire Council - including as a past mayor - to the role.
“It felt right to give back to the club in this role, and give back in an administrative way,” he said.
“I understand the governance side of things fairly well from my time with council, and will be following on from the work the club has done particularly in junior development across the netball and football programs.”
Hannan said the new committee will be looking to continue to develop the position of the club and continue the hard work completed under Clarke’s tenure and previous committees.
“The club is already in a good position, but hopefully that development will keep us in a good position moving forward.”
