Heathcote vs Elmore
Facing one of the other low-ranking sides, Elmore fought back from a half-time deficit to get its first points on the board.
The Saints got the jump on their home court at Barrack Reserve and were out to a 14-10 lead at quarter-time.
Elmore remained a little off the pace in the second and had work to do at the main break, down 24-19.
However, the half-time talk seemed to do wonders for the Bloods and the visitors erased the deficit in the third, scoring 14 goals to nine to level things at 33-all.
It was a hard-fought final term, but Elmore showed slightly more late to claim its first victory, 47-45.
The Bloods remain on the base of the table by goal differential, one of three sides on four competition points.
Huntly vs Lockington-Bamawm United
After picking up its first win last week, Lockington-Bamawm United went close to scoring a second consecutive victory.
Travelling to Huntly, the Cats were in the contest throughout, but eventually Huntly was able to pull away and secure a 10-goal victory, 61-51.
LBU remains in seventh place, with a single win from six outings, while Huntly moves into the top four.
Leitchville-Gunbower vs Colbinabbin
Premier Colbinabbin will be hard to stop this year
Colbinabbin’s title defence has rolled on unhindered, with the Grasshoppers easily accounting for Leitchville-Gunbower at the weekend.

The Hoppers stay a perfect 6-0 at the top of the ladder, while Leitchville-Gunbower sits in sixth with one win and a draw.
Mount Pleasant vs North Bendigo
There was also a strong performance from the other 2025 grand finalist, with Mount Pleasant dominating North Bendigo at Toolleen Recreation Reserve.
