But the reserves live to face another day and play Seymour at Seymour this Saturday.

But Echuca had the answers in the last half half, kicking 5.8 to 2.4 to run out winners by 23 points.

The Bombers had their best players in ruckman Brenton Brasier, who was able to compete with Echuca’s heavyweights in another big hearted performance.
Jackson Barnett, Zac Parkinson and Jack Donaldson in defence worked hard to stem Echuca’s forward forays and Miller Griffiths was a key prime mover for his side in the midfield.
The Bombers will be looking to keep its flag hopes alive this Saturday and get one back on the side that beat them for last year’s flag.

In their clash, Kyabram thirds never recovered from a sluggish start when the Shepparton Swans ambushed them with a burst of four goals.
The young Bombers never raised the hopes of their supporters after that, with the Swans running out winners by a whopping 65 points.
Few Kyabram players could hack the pace the Swans applied, but defenders Dylan Priest, Mitch Wilson and Oscar Carver tried hard against the odds.
Wilson also had runs on the ball, while winger Wil Harrison and under-16s onballer Max Stockdale did a lot of positive work along with Tyler Doolan in a tagging role.
But it was an unexpected and disappointing way for the young Bombers to exit from the flag race after some good wins during the season.
