MFNL | Sides reach finals across all grades

Moama and Tongala will both play finals after they finished second and fifth, respectively.

The Magpies are the reigning premiers, backing up last year’s title with a strong regular season that saw them go 14-4 and record a percentage north of 200.

Meanwhile, the Blues went 12-6, slightly better than 2025 when they posted a 10-8 record and finished sixth.

Tonny now faces Finley in an elimination final, while Moama has a week off before taking on minor premier Cobram in a grand final qualifier.

Under-17

Moama and Echuca United made the post-season after finishing second and fifth, respectively.

The Magpies, who lost the grand final last year to Cobram, will take on the Tigers in a grand final qualifier.

Meanwhile, the Eagles face Deniliquin Rams in an elimination match-up.

Under-14

The two clubs will also be represented in the under-14 post-season.

Moama finished fourth, while Echuca United was just behind in fifth, meaning the two sides will face off in an elimination final.

Netball

B-grade

Tongala, Moama, and Echuca United have all qualified for the finals' series.

The Blues, last year’s champion, had another unbeaten regular season to take out the minor premiership.

Meanwhile, Moama finished 14-4, good enough for second on percentage, and Echuca United claimed the last finals spot in sixth after going 9-9.

The Eagles will now face Mulwala in the first week of finals, while Tonny and the Magpies have a week off before their grand final qualifier.

C-grade

Like B-grade, Tongala recorded an unbeaten season for the second straight year to finish first.

It will take on Moama in a grand final qualifier after the Magpies placed second with a 14-4 record.

Behind both in third was Echuca United, which will be favoured to progress when it versus Congupna in an elimination final.

C-reserve

Tongala went invincible again in the C-reserve regular season, and will also play Moama in the grand final qualifier after the Magpies claimed second on percentage.

Echuca United will play finals too after finishing fifth, setting up an elimination final meeting with Rumbalara.

Under-17

All three local clubs placed at the top of the under-17 competition, with Moama first, Tongala second, and Echuca United in third.

The Magpies and Blues will face off in the grand final qualifier, a week after the Eagles take on Finley in an elimination game.

Under-15

Moama finished second to set up a qualifying final against Cobram, which only pipped the Magpies to the minor premiership by two points.

Tongala and Echuca United will both play in elimination finals, the third-placed Blues taking on Mulwala, while the fifth-placed Eagles are up against Nathalia.

Under-13

Echuca United took out the minor premiership on percentage from Cobram, with the two sides now playing for a spot in the grand final after having a week off.

Meanwhile, there will be a local clash in the elimination finals as third-placed Moama takes on sixth-placed Tongala.
