Picola United took out the senior football and A-grade netball matches against rival Mathoura on Anzac Day.
Anzac Day saw a host of local sides in football and netball action, headlined by rivalry clashes and meetings between premiership contenders.

Starting in the Goulburn Valley League, where both Echuca teams came away victorious against Kyabram, the senior football side winning a thriller 12.11 (83) to 11.8 (74), while A-grade netball crushed the Bombers 87-8.
In the Murray league, Tongala supporters were served with a perfect storm as their teams won against Moama away from home, the senior football side thrashing the Magpies 15.10 (100) to 7.8 (50), while the netball was much closer, the Blues winning 51-45.
Finally, to the Picola District Football Netball League, where Picola United completed a clean sweep of its rivalry matches against Mathoura, the Blues doing enough to win 14.11 (95) to 9.4 (58) in senior football and 51-26 in A-grade netball.
There will be another local side in action today in Lockington Bamawm United, the Cats taking on Mount Pleasant in the Heathcote District Football Netball League at Lockington Recreation Reserve, with senior football starting at 2.20pm and A-grade netball from 2.30pm.
