A-grade produced a polished four-quarter performance to record a convincing victory.
The defensive end laid the foundation for the win, putting constant pressure on the opposition and making every pass difficult.
The defenders worked brilliantly together, reading the play well, creating turnovers and converting those opportunities into attack.
Through the midcourt, with strong drives, smart leads and patient ball movement, the team consistently worked the ball through the court with confidence.
The two junior goalers continue to impress. They were calm under pressure, shot accurately, and worked tirelessly to create space in the goal circle.
Their confidence and composure were outstanding, and they rewarded the team’s hard work with an excellent shooting performance.

B-grade: Deni Rovers 60 def Strathmerton 44.
From the first whistle, the girls applied relentless pressure across the court and were rewarded for that going into the first break with an eight goal lead.
This continued throughout the game, and the shooters ensured that the scoreboard kept ticking over, converting turnovers with accuracy.
The spacing and balancing of the court on transition by the midcourters was a standout feature of the game, allowing the shooters to position themselves in their preferred spots in the ring to get feeds to their advantage.
There was communication, trust and teamwork displayed across the court from all players throughout all four quarters and allowed Deni Rovers to come away with a strong win.

C-grade: Deni Rovers 60 def Strathmerton 19.
The girls stood their ground in what was an intense and physical game.
Everyone remained composed, worked hard for each other, and played with determination to finish on top.
Our defensive end was outstanding, with Erika Martin, Shané Bothma and Catie Lewis applying relentless pressure, creating turnovers and making it incredibly difficult for Strathmerton to score.
At the attacking end, Elly Blake, Britt Edwards and Taylor Wilkinson were strong, patient and composed, converting opportunities and keeping the scoreboard ticking over.

C-reserve: Deni Rovers 33 def Strathmerton 27.
Deni were slow to settle, with a few uncharacteristic errors allowing Strathy to apply early scoreboard pressure.
Despite the cold conditions, the players remained determined and composed, working hard to regain possession in a closely contested, goal-for-goal opening half.
The second and third quarters saw Deni find their rhythm. Improved ball movement, smart decision-making and well-timed leads allowed the team to transition the ball confidently, while strong one-on-one defence created valuable turnovers and disrupted Strathy's attacking flow.
Heading into the final quarter, the contest remained evenly balanced, but Deni’s persistence and teamwork began to shine through. Relentless defensive pressure and effective communication created more scoring opportunities, allowing the team to gradually extend its lead.

It was pleasing to see the girls continue to build on the work they’ve put in throughout the season.
As we head towards the pointy end of the year, our processes and team structures are becoming more consistent, with the girls showing confidence in their decision-making and trusting each other across the court.
Strong defensive pressure created plenty of opportunities, while our transitions and ball movement allowed us to convert consistently in attack. Every player contributed to another well-rounded team performance.

Under-15s: Deni Rovers 39 def Strathmerton 11.
The side was focused on delivering four full quarters of effort, and came away with a well-earned victory.
Issy Didcock produced her best performance of the season, presenting strongly, shooting with confidence and applying relentless defensive pressure.
Marlie Mison continued her consistent form, providing fantastic leads in attack and taking important intercepts through the midcourt.
Lara Redden stepped up in defence, showcasing her improved footwork to get around her opponent and collecting plenty of intercepts.

Under-13s: Deni Rovers 47 def Strathmerton 0.
A continued focus on work rate, pace and quick transition has supported the girls in keeping a sustained effort.
Defenders Isabella Goodear, Bella Leetham and Pallas East showed control and dominance in the defensive end, working hard to keep the pressure on, forcing held balls and wide reach to cleanly intercept high passes.
Seamless and smooth flow from midcourters Laila White, Khoa Unwin, Peggy O’Donnell and Sophie Bulmer saw the ball move down the court with precision and strength behind every pass made.
Shooters Harper Bulmer, Madison Danckert and Indi Conallin all showed versatility across GA and GS, showing teamwork and connection to get the best shooting positions.

Under-11s: Not scored.
The under-11s showed fantastic teamwork and determination throughout the game.
Indi Bulmer, Mia Fitzmaurice, Lainey Sampson, Evie Hunter, Winnie Horton, Lucia Crane, Sophia Lehmann (award), and Leah White all worked hard, supported each other and never gave up.
Their passing was sharp, defensive pressure was strong, and they continued to encourage one another from start to finish.
It was great to see their confidence grow as the game went on.
