While waterskiing is a popular pastime in the twin towns, doing it barefoot takes it to a whole new level.

The crazy craft is hard to master, but this Saturday, the Victorian Barefoot Waterski Club is providing all women the opportunity to learn from one of the best.
After receiving a Women in Sport grant, the club will run a female-only ‘come and try’ day at Gunbower from 7am to 11am this Saturday, helping beginners to get set on the water.

Those interested will be treated to tips and tricks from Courtney McDonald, a former junior world jump champion and Australian team skier, who will be coaching from inside the boat.
