The Echuca-Moama Sportstar of the Year Awards reflect the exemplary sporting achievements of those within our community.

Supported by the Riverine Herald, Moama Bowling Club and Echuca Travel Centre, the awards celebrate the love of sport within our community.Throughout its 32-year history, monthly Sportstar awards have been given to 260 senior athletes and 258 junior athletes.‘Spirit of Sport’ (Administrator or Volunteer of the Year), ‘Coach of the Year’ and the ‘Team/Club of the Year’ have been introduced to acknowledge the valuable roles other people have in the ongoing development of sport in our district.
