A quiet week for the club this week, Wednesday was the day our friend and greenkeeper Ged was laid to rest.

We were proud along with his cricket club mates to form a guard of honour for him. Rest in Peace Ged.

Social:

Tuesday, July 13 again saw good numbers on the green, but it is a pity there are not more members supporting the organisers.

Winners on the day were John and Doug Mctier. Runners up were Peter Humphreys and Graham Albert.

The jackpot did not go off.

Remember Social bowls are on each Tuesday at 12.30pm, (please try and be in attendance and paid up by 12.15).

Sheets are on the notice board behind the escalators, format will always be determined by the number of bowlers on the day.

Visitors and single entries are always welcome.

Sunday, August 18 saw low numbers this week however those who played were lucky with weather.

Winners were Kerry Merrett and Jason Milich. Runners up Jan and Cliff Morton.

The jackpot did not go off.

Sheet is on the board for next week, remember bowls begin at 12.30pm, names in by 11.00am please.
