CHURCHES in Echuca-Moama will come together this Easter to bring back their Walk of Witness.
From 10.30am on Good Friday, members of the public are invited to join the congregation and carry the cross from the Echuca-Moama Uniting Church to the Christ Church Anglican then the St Mary's Catholic Church and back.
Along the way, members of each church will share various readings from the Bible in what they call the Stations of the Cross.
After being on hiatus for a few years, Uniting Church volunteer Anne Peace said it was important to get back up and running.
“We're so thrilled to be able to bring this event back especially after the hard times we've had,” she said.
“It will be lovely to come together with the other churches from around town and walk for a common cause.”
Those participating are encouraged to meet at the Echuca-Moama Uniting Church, which is located at 115-117 Hare St, Echuca.
