After plenty of speculation about the star's future, the West Coast Eagles revealed on Tuesday that their talismanic midfielder has signed a two-year extension with the club, extending his deal to the end of 2028.
In 19 appearances this season, Reid averaged 18.8 disposals, 3.9 clearances and kicked 14 goals.
Reid won the AFL Players Association Best First Year Player award in his rookie season, also picking up the league's goal of the year.
Reid told club media he was “extremely excited” to commit his future to West Coast.
“The support from our coaches and my teammates has been amazing over the last two years and I’m looking forward to continuing to develop my game and helping the team climb back up the ladder,” he said.
“I can’t wait for the 2026 season and beyond to see what we can achieve together.”
West Coast will be continuing to try and rebuild during the off-season after picking up a second wooden spoon in three years.
The club has become a home away from home for local prospects, with former Echuca junior Noah Long and Moama 2024 draftee Jobe Shanahan also on the Eagles’ list.
Shanahan also extended his Eagles’ deal until the end of 2028 last week.
