The Steamers faced off with Golden Square in wet conditions in the decider, coming off a week’s break after advancing past Bendigo in the qualifying final.
There was some back-and-forth across the rinks at North Bendigo Bowls Club, but in the end Moama found its way to a comfortable overall win, claiming three rinks to prevail 91-64.
Alex Marshall skipped the Steamers’ best rink, getting up 30-16 over Nathan Lynch, while Matt Robertson also led a win, defeating Bryce Young 24-13.
Kevin Anderson rounded out the trio of rink successes for Moama, winning 21-15 over Andrew Brown.
Golden Square pulled one rink back through Alex Skilton, 20-16 over Cameron Keenan, but Moama earned the title in dominant fashion overall.
It is the third straight BCGBR Premier League win for Moama, the side now again qualifying for the Champion of State pennant at the end of April.
After also winning that championship last year, Moama will host the competition in 2026, taking on the best weekend pennant premiers from around Victoria.
