The 2026 Benalla Neighbourhood Policing Forum will be held online on Thursday, July 23.
The forum welcomes businesses and community members from across the Benalla, Mansfield and Murrindindi LGAs to join online and hear from local police about what’s important in their communities.
This forum is open to all people living in these LGAs and will run from 6pm to 8pm, via Microsoft Teams.
Leading Senior Constable Chris Di Ciero said the forum would give community members a chance to ask questions or clarify anything that they might need to know with their local police.
“Initially, attendees will be given an opportunity to listen to the experts in each area, and then they’ll be able to ask questions,” she said.
“So whether it’s about the road policing or anything they would like to know, they will have a chance to get involved.”
The forum will explore a range of topics including:
- Current crime trends and crime prevention
- Family violence
- Young people
- Drugs and drug-related crime
- Road policing
- Retail Crime
The forum will be run by a Victoria Police panel and questions will be taken from the audience via the Teams chat function throughout the event.
To attend this event, you must register online and a link to join will be sent on the day of the event.
