AN ECHUCA man has escaped punishment after a drug raid at his home.
Police carried out a search warrant at an Ogilvie Ave property on Friday, November 13, where they found a small amount quantity of cannabis.
The man was issued with a cannabis caution.
It followed an unrelated drug raid on the same day in Rochester.
Two grow rooms containing 40 cannabis plants were found at a Mackay St property and sheds.
The occupant, a 52-year-old man, was charged with cultivating and possessing cannabis.
He was bailed to appear in Echuca Magistrates’ Court on March 9, 2021.
