Echuca Moama travelled to Shepparton on Wednesday, July 17 for an enjoyable day.
Shepparton put on a Christmas in July day and it was a great success.
Eleven members played two games before a break ahead of the final game.
Echuca Moama came home with three winners on the day with Trevor Peters winning his three games coming in first with Beryl Ash second and Mavis Peters third.
Trevor also won the jump shots with three.
On Friday, our members came together for some more enjoyable games.
New member John Tarrant once again had his eye in and got a hoop in one — he has improved every week.
Monday saw our members out on the courts for a very good day.
Jeff Pumpa was on fire getting the first hoop then firing down the second.
Our winner for Monday was Dave Hocking with +5 with Trevor Peters coming in second.
Jump shots were won by John Graham with one as Mavis Peters came in with two.
Hoops in one were won by Jill Graham.

Ten members played golf croquet on Thursday last week, with numbers down due to the cold and windy weather.
Bev Floyd, the only player to win all three of her games, was the winner with a nett hoop score of +13.
Six players won two of their three games.
Helen Brierley was the day’s runner-up with a nett hoop score of +9, beating Di Smyth on a countback.
Russ Smyth, Jim Gunn and Bev Floyd scored hoops in one.
On Tuesday, 16 members played handicap singles.
Three players won all three of their games.
The day’s winner was Fiona Larcombe with a nett hoop score of +13, ahead of Bev Floyd with +8 and Anne Dodd on +4.
Hoops in one were scored by Cheryl Lees, Ian Grant and Bev Floyd.
Four Rich River Croquet Club members attended a Christmas in July social day at Shepparton last week.
They have reported that Shepparton hosted a most enjoyable day with superb catering and a true Christmas celebration.

Visitors and new members are welcome to join golf croquet at Rich River on Tuesday and Thursday, with a 10.30am start and lessons can be arranged.
