Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have arrested two people in relation to a hit-run collision in Echuca in March.
A 45-year-old Echuca woman and 34-year-old Epsom man were arrested in Echuca yesterday.
Both were released pending further inquiries and the investigation remains ongoing.
Joshua Abbott, 23, remains behind bars over the hit and run after being charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury and failing to remain at the scene of a collision and render assistance last month.
Abbott will appear in Bendigo Magistrates Court on August 7 for a committal mention hearing.
The 39-year-old victim suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a motorcycle on the Campaspe River walking track between McKenzie St and Campaspe Esplanade about 12.15am on March 10.
The man remains in the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.
The motorbike which was involved in the collision is still missing and investigators are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
