Gallery | Pubs reopen in Echuca Moama

IF you were out and about on Monday you may have heard the familiar sounds of friends chatting, kitchens pumping out hot food and bar drinks flowing, just like old times ... well, almost.

The easing of coronavirus restrictions saw locals making the most of a night out for the first time in months across pubs and restaurants in Echuca-Moama.

But the remaining guidelines meant things looked a little different with the spacing of tables, social distancing and restricted numbers inside venues.

Most establishments have been closed since the end of March but from Monday, NSW eateries were allowed to seat a maximum 50 people, while their Victorian counterparts are limited to 20 at this point.
