Family, friends and the general public packed into the theatre and were treated with entertainment with some Echuca flavour, a far cry from the latest Avengers or Star Wars film that is usually shown on their big screens.
Students from Years 9, 10 and 11 were given different assignments to work on throughout the semester, producing anything from full narratives to short films based around a shoelace.
Year 10 student Sebastian Monahan said he had been working on his project for the past two weeks.
“Our film was us filming our day but jammed into one minute,” he said.
St Joseph’s media teacher Matthew Scott said that the screenings were a great reward for the students' hard work.
“It’s good for people outside of the school to know what we get up to here, but it’s also a good way for the students to celebrate the effort and the hard work they’ve put in to making their projects,” he said.
